Not very often I’m willing to give 5 stars, I have no doubt Brian gave us the best price he possibly could. The whole project was completed with in the agreed time frame & only slightly over budget (see below about unforeseen extra costs which occurred).It is not very often you come across a builder with the honesty, integrity & communication skills of Brian Pimm at Simply Renovate, Fremantle, WA. My wife and I selected this company purely by chance. We were looking for a small, highly experienced, local builder to perform a complete renovation on our small (58m2) two bedroom Unit near Fremantle. We met with Brian a few times before giving him the actual go ahead to proceed.Brian & his team of contractors did a top job. They had a 45yo Unit to deal with that appeared to have had only a minor reno done back in the late 80's, early 90's. There was a few curly surprises like old tiles hidden under the old carpet that contained asbestos, dodgy old copper water pipe set into the concrete which was rerouted, an above neighbour with a leaky bathroom that needed resolving, etc. My wife Jenny & I were away touring in the remote West Australian Desert which meant we were out of contact for 5 weeks during the renovation. Brian was required to make decisions on our behalf all of which proved to be the correct call.We are wrapped with the final result, I would highly recommend Brian & Simple Renovate to manage your next Renovation Project.

Brian was a dream to work with. He removed old french doors and opened up the lounge room by installing large stacking doors in to a larger opening in the wall. His attention to detail and willingness to work with the new door supplier made the experience a lot easier than we expected. He provided a clear quote prior to work and did not deviate from this. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone.

We engaged Brian to renovate our bathroom and he was always professional and punctual. Brian was approachable, helpful and always willing to consider our ideas and often added to them. It is not often I give a five star rating but in this case it is entirely justified.

Found Brian via Google, took a punt going by the favourable reviews and truly, could not be happier with our choice of tradesman. His work reflected his years of experience, he listened to our wants and put into place quickly and professionally the plans we had. He's a gentleman to boot, very pleasant to have working around the home and we were happy with his pricing.

We found Brian last year when looking for a builder who would help us through our major renovation as owner builders. As keen DIYers but novice (to put it kindly) builders we truly put Brian's owner builder friendly" assertion to the test. We were not disappointed. We have in fact been delighted in Brian and his team having now come out the other side of a brand new workshop/garage build

Our project involved reconfiguring the existing back half of our 1930s timber-framed cottage, and incorporated a new kitchen, bathroom and laundry. We were pleasantly surprised with Brian’s quote and the job was completed within the promised timeframe. We are still thrilled with the results over a year after completion. Brian was so great at communicating through every step of the process including any cost changes and we love the bathroom and laundry we were able to create together, now having lived with it and used it for over six months. Brian brought lots of great ideas and solutions and worked with us to achieve the family space we were aiming for within the timeframe he estimated, even with some challenging exisiting issues to work with. Brian was so easy going and friendly, we all enjoyed having him here and the kids missed him when he was finished! We were also so impressed with all the trades he recommended and worked with.
